Schatzie is our Miniature Piebald Dachshund.  He is truly a member of our family, so earlier this spring it was very important for  us to find the right trainer for him.  Kim Grieff proved to be that perfect match.  The first thing that we noticed was that Kim truly loves animals.   Her gentle side allowed Schatzie to fall in love with her at first sight.  He trusted her completely and followed her commands almost immediately.  In that first lesson when he responded to a short “recall”  I cried.  I was a believer in the first 5 minutes that Kim was the one to  train him.  Probably most important has been the training she has given me.  She has taught me about proper nutrition for Schatzie, potty training, safety, and how to use the kennel properly.  I appreciated that she asked what our goals were for Schatzie .  In each lesson she would model the commands.  Then she would have me do the same commands until I was accurate and comfortable with each command.  At the end of each lesson she always recapped what we had learned at each session and gave me the homework to foster what had been learned in each session.  Our private lessons from The Pet Tutor have made Schatzie a much disciplined dog.  Our neighbors are constantly impressed with his regard to safety.  You see he is a joy to walk on a leash and is ever mindful of safety as he stops automatically and sits when he hears a car, then will continue to walk once the car has passed!    The Pet Tutor is the only choice if you are looking for a talented, loving teacher for your pet.  Schatzie sends a high five and lots of sloppy kisses  to his Miss Kim !

Kim Grieff is a Great Pet Tutor. My doberman Duke has changed quite a bit. Although he was never aggressive , he was a puppy and very hyper. Everyone has noticed a difference in him since attending Kim's classes. I highly recommend enrolling your pet into Kim's classes, she is attentive, even staying late if necessary. She returns phone calls efficiently should you have any questions and genuinely cares for your pet and what is best for your pet. I will actually be using her boarding services while I am away because I trust Kim. You get so much for the price, it is definitely worth attending her classes.

An experience this morning confirmed to both Trevor and I, that your course was the best spent dollars for our dog!
Jake managed to get out of the backyard.  I grabbed his favorite treat, and went to find him.  I walked in front of our house- nowhere to be seen.  So in my biggest happy tone called for him.  A movement from down on the next block.  I called again, and here comes this brown streak toward me!   I was so excited!  It worked!  He ignored the garbage cans, the people, and traffic, the joggers and came!    Just thought I would share that with you!
